Do I use ice or heat?
Depending on the injury and time in which it occurred will determine the application of heat or ice. If you have had the injury within the past 24 - 48 hours you will most often receive the greatest benefit from ice. It is anytime after this that you may switch to heat. If the injury affects the joint more so than muscle tissue you may want to continue ice until you have spoken with your physician.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
A Front Office staff member went to bat for me one morning when I arrived for PT but my approved plan had not. The staff member called the physician office and insisted on talking to a "live" person and finally it was all straightened out. I am most grateful that this person went the extra mile to help me.
