Certified Hand Therapy
Baltimore Sports Rehabilitation and PT have a certified hand therapist who provides treatment in our Bel Air office, splint fabrication and consultation in our Essex and Gambrills offices. The Hand Therapy Certification Commission Inc. (HTCC) is a not-for profit corporation established in 1989 for the purpose of sponsoring a voluntary credentialing program. This program provides an opportunity to occupational therapists and physical therapists that specialize in upper extremity rehabilitation. HTCC provides ongoing recertification to assume that individuals practicing hand therapy maintain competence once initially certified.
