Wellness Program

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's):

Q. How many times a week can I attend the program?
A. You may participate in the program as many times a week as you would like during the offices hours of operation.

Q. Will my health insurance cover the cost of the Wellness Program?
A. No, Private Health Insurance will not cover the program, however the program is tax deductible.

Q. What do I do if I need to change my program?
A. You may alter your program yourself - as with a gym- you can increase the weight and number of repetitions to progress. Therapist's will be able to alter programs in the event that a medical or health issue arises.

Q. Will BSR Tech's be assisting me with my program or exercises?
A. You will be required to perform your exercises independently including your set-up on the machines. We also ask that you please return and/or leave equipment in the same condition and place as it was.

Q. What equipment may I use?
A. You may use any equipment in the gym with the exception of the Biodex, Balance Master, and P.T. modalities (e-stim, ultrasound) machines.

Q. If I was discharged from physical therapy and join the Wellness Program, will my therapist still perform hands-on treatment?
A. No. Physical Therapists are not required to be present for Wellness members. When discharged from therapy you are allowed to perform your exercises individually without the supervision or treatment of a therapist.

Q. Can I use the equipment in the pool?
A. Yes, all of the aquatic equipment is available for your use in the pool.

Q. Are the changing rooms/ showers available for Wellness Members?
A. Yes. You may shower and change is the rooms provided, however BSR patient's have first priority, therefore, you may have to wait to allow patients to change.

Q. What should I expect from the Wellness Program?
A. Upon arrival for a Wellness session we ask that you sign your name on one of the labels provided at the front desk and circle "Wellness". After doing so, please have a seat and wait for a tech to retrieve your flow sheet and call you back to begin your program.
