Eric Shaivitz, PTA
Eric joined BSR & PT in October 2004 with almost 10 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant. He applies the skillfulness learned from industrial medicine in the rehabilitation department at Bethlehem Steel in Sparrow's Point, Maryland to geriatric medicine at a continuing care retirement community in Roland Park, Maryland with the emphasis on multiple disciplinary approach on wellness.
As the coordinator to the Wellness Program at the Essex office, Eric deems educating the patient at the conclusion of the rehabilitation experience the utmost importance on maintaining the lifestyle of the individual. He currently teaches an arthritis class in an aquatics setting sponsored by the Arthritis Foundation of Maryland.
